In This little document I will be writing how to create quick selinux rules to allow programs to run properly and still allow for selinux to give some security. Keep in mind that this method listed below will allow all selinux denials and in some cases this might not be the direction you want to go with.

Well after doing some searching around for a package built against Centos5 / RHEL5 for the Apache module mod_security. All options seem to point to changing the version of Apache that ships with Centos 5.x / RHEL 5.x or building from scratch.

There is an integrity checking software called AIDE shipped by Centos Linux 5. AIDE provides some general strategy for implementing integrity checking to detect the intrusions when they have occurred.
