Well in order to fully enjoy your Fedora 16 (Verne) Install, And by enjoy I am referring to seamless integration of all codecs the majority of us need. The following Steps should get you up and running and closer to having a complete desktop experience. Just remember the following steps all need to be done as the “root” user.

For those that have noticed Scientific Linux does not do a straight upgrade to the next version like centos does. So below i will show you most likely the cleanest way to do it as seen on the official website.
